Thanks to everyone who made it out to see blink.’s shows last week. Itwas great to play with Quin, Greg, and Dave again, the first time since we recorded our second full-length album at the I.V. Lab here in Chicago. It’s almost done being mixed and should be released this fall. Also, our first European tour is coming together with a few shows in the Netherlands this December. Check back soon for some more information!

Happy 2010 everyone and thanks for checking in with me!! I’ve been a little out of touch with updates but I’ve been busy composing a lot of new music for lots of upcoming projects including a new blink. record that we’ll be recording in February and a piece for solo bass and electronics. I’m really excited about some European tour dates at the end of the year so check back in for developments on that front. New Audio tracks will be on the way and some score samples as well. Looking forward to lots of music this year, I hope to see you soon!
Recent/Upcoming Events
This has been a really busy summer in the best ways so far. July was full of writing new music for blink. as well as my large ensemble. blink. performed at Elastic Arts on July 30th and the Velvet Lounge on the 31st where we debuted three new pieces. August 1st at Heaven Gallery was the second ever performance for my large ensemble of thirteen musician, some of my favorite in Chicago, and I composed two new pieces for that. As soon as I have the recordings of that show I’ll put them up in the Audio section, as well as some new blink. samples.
August is going to be really exciting also! Rogue Nations plays at the Hungry Brain on August 16th, Fitted Shards (Greg Ward’s project) at Elastic on August 18th, and then blink. will be touring at the end of the month in Cincinnati, Philadelphia, and Brooklyn.
